buzzing with love
Supporting local businesses is something we love, big time- and it’s just one of the reasons we were so crazy about Jesse & Brian’s wedding.Jesse & Brian kicked off their wedding celebration with a big crowd and a delicious rehearsal dinner at Foskoskie’s Neighborhood Cafe. We’re talkin’ gourmet southern comfort food (Apple Butterscotch Cake, anyone?)- YUM!
While the guys were chowin’ down on some Cabo Fish Taco deliciousness, I met up with Jesse and her bridal party at Orange Olive Hair Salon in NoDa. I had a blast spending some quality time with the incredibly talented Orange Olive stylists and Jesse’s family and bridal party. Getting all dolled up can really work up a hunger, so, naturally, we stopped by a convenience store for some munchies… because when a bride requires Andy Capp’s Hot Fries and a Smart Water, you make it happen!
Jesse & Brian wanted to see each other before the ceremony, which we ALWAYS love. Their “first look” pictures have got to be the sweetest things I’ve ever seen.
Jesse & Brian’s wedding was completely “them”. Every detail was so thoughtfully and beautifully planned. The ceremony and reception were held at the scenic Deerpond Plantation, flowers done by New Creations Flower Company, and other little personal touches were added to really make this wedding unique. We LOVED the chalkboard with the names of those in the wedding party, and the “To Have And To Hold..And Keep Your Drink Cold” koozies!
After dancing the night away, these two lovebirds headed to Europe for 2 weeks of backpacking and sightseeing- now, that’s what I’m talkin’ ‘bout. Could they be any cooler? Seriously.
Congrats, Mr. & Mrs. Buchanan! We love you guys!
Here are a few of our favorites from their wedding.
