ENGAGED:: KAYLA & JOHN

When Kayla & John asked us to be their photographers, I couldn’t have been more excited. Just having seen these two interact in passing, I knew they would be a DREAM to photograph. They make each other laugh. They are best friends. They are so in love.
Kayla & John wanted an urban but outdoorsy feel for their engagement session, so we spent an afternoon walking around uptown at some of my favorite spots. Kayla & John had their first date at the uptown outdoor ice rink, so we made sure to end our session with a little reminiscing on ice. I mean, as if these two weren’t cute enough, Kayla came equipped with quilted letters from my favorite store of all time, Anthropologie. I give bonus points to brides who show up with anything from Anthro. Just sayin’.

I love their love, I love this couple, and I LOVED this session! In my book, capturing coupes in their element is the best way to spend a day. SO looking forward to photographing their wedding this August at the Ballanytne Country Club and working alongside Something Blue wedding coordinators. YAY, WEDDINGS! Congrats, Kayla & John
