When we met Elena & John for the first time, we were in downtown Matthews sipping margaritas and got to know a little bit about their story. We discussed a unique location for their engagement session, and when they mentioned that they met while on a Dragon Boat racing team, we knew we HAD to do their session on Lake Norman, where they met!We spent the evening with Elena & John walking barefoot around Lake Norman, where they love to spend time together. These two fell in love on the lake, and absolutely love being on the water (as do we!)
We got our toes sandy. We splashed a little in the lake. And, oh, that cotton-candy sunset- how SWEET it was to watch from inside the dragon boat! That’s right, everyone. I went out in the boat with this amazing couple, and got a little glimpse at how they fell in love. I was total dead weight as they paddled us across the lake, but, hey, I had to keep the cameras dry!
We are SO excited to be a part of Elena & John’s swoon-worthy wedding this October at Carrigan Farms.
